CUP patients in Wales can now receive molecular profiling as standard of care. This is a huge step forward in identifying a patient’s primary tumour of origin and targetable therapies. Huge credit to Dr Sonali Dasgupta, CUP Lead for the Wales Cancer Network, whose dynamic leadership is transforming cancer services for CUP patients in Wales.

When CUP Foundation – Jo’s friends dissolved as a charity at the end of 2023 we transferred our funds – some £450,000 – to the Christie Charity for CUP-specific work by the Christie Hospital CUP team under the direction of Dr Natalie Cook; the funds to be used for CUP research and for other activities that will benefit CUP patients.
